MM MM Mac n Cheese


Mac n' Cheese is a staple in this house- it feeds the crafting soul!

What you need:

-Cooked pasta (usually i do a pound of whole wheat, any shape- that makes it healthy right?)

-Chunked cheese (1 brick +, I like Adirondack -Wicked Sharp but extra sharp and a mix of whatever is in the fridge works)

-Shredded cheese - (2 cups +, fiesta blend or whatever is on hand)

-Milk (1/2 cup roughly- I've used skim to heavy cream for this- anything works!)

-1/2 cup of sour cream (non fat works just as good, as any other so you can save a few calories)
-Powdered mustard (1/2 tablespoon -you can sub spicy mustard in if needed)

-Seasoning: i put adobe on everything so that goes in too, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and bread crumbs- tried panko this time around an it worked! (i sprinkle all to taste)


Mix everything together- put in a cooking dish- sprinkle on extra cheese on top (Romano/Parmesan is good for this too but def more shredded) and a bit of extra bread crumbs.

Pop it in the oven for 20 -30 min at 350 (depends on how brown you like it)and LOVE IT!!!

This is great for using up cheese after parties and is super comfort food. i hope you enjoy it as much as the fella and I do!
