MM MM Mac n Cheese

Mac n' Cheese is a staple in this house- it feeds the crafting soul!

What you need:

-Cooked pasta (usually i do a pound of whole wheat, any shape- that makes it healthy right?)

-Chunked cheese (1 brick +, I like Adirondack -Wicked Sharp but extra sharp and a mix of whatever is in the fridge works)

-Shredded cheese - (2 cups +, fiesta blend or whatever is on hand)

-Milk (1/2 cup roughly- I've used skim to heavy cream for this- anything works!)

-1/2 cup of sour cream (non fat works just as good, as any other so you can save a few calories)
-Powdered mustard (1/2 tablespoon -you can sub spicy mustard in if needed)

-Seasoning: i put adobe on everything so that goes in too, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and bread crumbs- tried panko this time around an it worked! (i sprinkle all to taste)

Mix everything together- put in a cooking dish- sprinkle on extra cheese on top (Romano/Parmesan is good for this too but def more shredded) and a bit of extra bread crumbs.

Pop it in the oven for 20 -30 min at 350 (depends on how brown you like it)and LOVE IT!!!

This is great for using up cheese after parties and is super comfort food. i hope you enjoy it as much as the fella and I do!

I think my alliance is more Team Edward but I have a HUGE soft spot for cute Native American fellas. I promised some soap inspired by the Twilight Saga and haven't jumped in with both feet yet I need to go through all of my scents to find the right one(s) and maybe order more from (they just got a new shopping cart on their site, its not my fault I should help test it!) But this is a paw print for Jacob or any animal lover really. It is also Pugnacious Vegetarian's favorite combo Goat's Milk Base with oatmeal, honey, and milk scent. Jacob is such a sweet boy he needed an earthy sweet scent- next go round I want to make him more musky though.

Views from a Sick Couch

When I'm sick besides the inside of my eyelids I see very few things.
Yesterday from my sick couch I saw very few things. I randomly woke up long enough to see our new commander and chief get sworn in (thank goodness) but did miss Aretha Franklin.... Mostly I saw Rhea being sooooo happy that the electric blanket was on all day, my yarn, Ghost Hunters (SSN 3 on DVD from the hubby), and empty tea cups......

New Look Coming!

With a new year comes a new look! I've revamped my banner and will begin taking new pictures for my shop too! A great idea came from I Sew Cute on she is also a fellow etsian and suggested since I have so many different types of items that I have different color backgrounds for each different category. Great idea right?! I'm open to more suggestions if you can think of anything. Let the process begin!!!!!
PS- I just ordered Car Magnets and New Business Cards for myself tooo!!!! Marketing revamp is in full swing as well.

So if you've spoken to me lately I've tried to turn you on to the Twilight Saga I'm sure :) These earrings are Twilight inspired and valentine's day worthy. It's a dark line to a pure heart, they remind me of my favorite vampire Edward and his pure hearted Bella. But if you know me I've always been attracted to the supposed black lines (fellas and things that look rough and tough but are really not so- my long haired rocker hubby for instance). Next up will probably be another Saga inspired craft, I'm thinking soaps that smell like the 3 main characters...... Once I get over this silly migraine I'm going to have a whack at it.
