I’ve been absolutely in love with coffee cup cozies lately. On a roll knits these super awesome ones http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=25254302&ref=em and I picked up an adorable batik one at Tight Knit in Troy from Petra (we’ll be back August 8th but more on that later).
So, I tried my hand at whipping up a crocheted version for my friend Emily’s Birthday- super results if I do say so myself!

But what do I do to make them mine…… Then I found these shrinky dink buttons from Spare Button http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28279809. And off my mind started racing elsewhere. Amazing right?????? She also has a great tut on how to make them on her blog http://ohilikethat.blogspot.com/2009/07/how-to-make-your-own-personlised.html . I think I’ll be making some dragonfly ones to go with my shops theme and start using them on just about everything. So, more to come with custom buttons!
