New Favorite Thing

I've been drinking 2/3 bottles of water a day. With the plastic piling up and the water fountain at work not being a glacier spring I needed a solution. Intro the new Brita Bottle this little invention is WONDERFUL! Even my tap water (which I usual enjoy sans filter) is more enjoyable! I picked mine up at Target for 9.99 - do you have a favorite new invention?

I should probably say hip to be rectangle.

This little guy came out of my imagination one day, the hardest part was finding safety eyes! I whipped him up during Celebrity Apprentice last night and I'm calling him Oscar right now. Any thoughts on making him better? Is he already perfect?

Craft Show Saturday & New Design

Adding Soul

The DH and I just purchased our first new car! WOW! Another very grown up thing for us. The salesman was very intrigued when I asked how wide and tall the back was. He asked if I owned a cello- my retort, no but I need to put in a tent and folding tables for craft shows. Most people don't know how to respond to that. :) Above isn't it, but it is a Kia Soul in Alien Green!

PS-I'll be away for a bit - (Mother in Law's Graduation and a quick jaunt to Florida to see Grandmother in Law) so all orders from the shop ship 6/1 -Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

New Items- Lariat Necklace Sets

I am so darn proud of these lil newbies. Lariat necklaces with matching earrings: Chalk Turquoise, African Turquoise and Freshwater Pearls some of my favorite things. These lariats have lassoed my heart. What do you think?

Techie Plunge

The Kurtz's did it. We still love our hardcover and softcover books a like but the hubby and I have bought our kindles. Of course DH never to lose a second with a new toy has downloaded his Lord of the Ring books and is reading like a mad man. I am currently in the middle of a Vampire Diaries Book by L.J Smith (completely different then the TV Show- but this is what the TV show is based on) but I'm almost done.
When I get whisked away next Sunday to NOLA I'm going sans my normal 4/5 book stash that accompanies me to an airport. So, what should my first download be?

PS- Always one to accessories I got a custom made cover from Get Sassed - fun to work with, I can't wait to use it on my trip :)

Things are currently a bit hectic over this way.
30 days until we hit New Orleans!
I made my 100th sale in my shop
1 week until our Kindles Arrive (we caved to the siren song of technology)
The hubby graduates college in about 2 months.
This weekend I'm on my way to assist my Mom at an all Adirondack Craft Fair (and sneak in a bit of time with some of my best friends).
And last night I tried Kanzashi Flowers

Warning- this is projected to take an hour, my first attempt took much longer than that (roughly one episode of Vampire Diaries & The Marriage Ref give or take a commercial).

May I introduce my newest cuties:



It's hard to find hair do dads for special events or just when you want to feel special. So, when a customer of mine asked me to come up with something for her I made some for her and listed a few others! What do you think?
